My four year old son asked last night at the dinner table, "what noise does a koala bear make". I had to confess to not knowing this, but said I'd find out.
So....what noise does a koala bear make?

Googled it...
Koalas communicate with each other by making a noise like a snore and then a belch, known as a "bellow"

Hey I joked with him that they would mainly snore. He may like the fact that they belch too much.
Thanks guys.

they growl - much like a snore - very loudly.
they're also permanently drugged from an overdose of eucalyptus - it's a sort of marijuana for koalas. you may choose not to tell your son that.

They can also sometimes sound like a baby crying and their fighting is very noisy screeching.

Oh and I'm probably being pedantic, but they aren't "bears" just koalas.
