Dougie Lochhead

I hear you about being too busy for community. It's hard to find the right balance I guess between having Christian / Church relationships that are working and also being with others who need us to help them.

At camp, here in BC we have found that when we are too busy for community things don't work out so well. We have found that if we put community as a large part of why we're here then the work will happen around us and things seem to be more effective.

Relationships are key to community so we should probably start from this and community (and being part of community events) will come naturally? We need to highlight the merits of community to young people who are growing in the faith - it was something the early disciples were a part of.

Hope you have a fruitful summer.
